63 miles to Riverside, WY, population 27. Our last day in Wyoming.
Again, we had a slight breeze at our back most of the day so that made the ride rather pleasant. We saw some antelope off the side of the road but they were pretty skittish so I did not get a picture of them. Stopped in the town of Saratoga at 40 miles for an apple and a pop tart. A fine lunch! Then the final 23 miles to Riverside for our stay in a rustic, old cabin.
We're beginning to get a little anxious about our big climb coming up in 3 days. It will involve the most climbing of any day on this trip and also involve the highest elevation. We need to cross the Berthoud Pass at 11,307 feet. 32 miles of climbing to reach the top - then, hopefully a pleasant downhill to our destination. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
